Pigeon-holed as?: Jazz
We’re not saying they are these guys, but they kind of sound like: Head Hunters, Crusaders
What’s their deal?: With members from a whole host of jazz, jam, indie and world music, SuperCollider is Boulder’s biggest jazz super group. Each player has individually done wonders for the genre, but combined, this band comes across as one of the Front Range’s most adept improvisational groups.
