What’s their deal?: Instant Empire is an indie rock band that recently released their first self-titled EP in May. The band’s music is driven by lyrics and melody. Writers Saunders and Connaughty deliver astute observations and commentaries on society in a way that is beautifully poetic. Catchy lyrics aren’t the only thing Instant Empire has going for them. The melodies are supported by strong instrumentals and well-blended harmonies.
