Ride Festival Brings Rock to Telluride

July 13-14

Telluride Town Park

Telluride, Colo.

Telluride never fails to surprise us, and this year that surprise comes in the form of the second annual Ride Festival. Unlike most festivals in the box canyon, the Ride Festival brings a more rock-heavy and Americana-laden lineup than other T-Ride festivals.

From David Byrne and St. Vincent, Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Rodrigo Y Gabriella to Drive-By Truckers, Steve Earle, CAKE and Son Volt, Ride Festival will test the natural reverb of the canyon like few festivals have before.

While many of these artists have played Telluride in one form or another over the years, having them all performing on the same weekend is new territory for Town Park and a much needed shot of testosterone into Telluride’s summer music tradition.

Feel good about that! Since 1975, KOTO has provided the Telluride region with high-quality, commercial-free, non-underwritten community radio.
