June 13-16
Shadows Ranch
Georgetown, Colo.
The abidingly artsy and welcoming mountain community of Georgetown, Colorado, known for its Victorian charm and plentiful mining museums, will become an ethereal electronic dance music and spiritual artistic haven for four days and three nights for the eighth annual Sonic Bloom Festival this June. The festival brings the finest and fastest rising electronic dance music acts together for an extended weekend and pairs them with an array of artistic vendors and performers focused on awakening the connection between body, mind and soul.
The electronic dance music scene is escalating to soaring heights and Colorado has been one of the music styles’ most supportive environments. The creativity at Sonic Bloom flows as consistently as the river that runs through the festival site. Bands and DJs play from morning until dawn. In between musical sets attendees have the chance to unwind with belly dance sessions and yoga workshops. Fire dancers, aerial silk performers, live painters, sculptors, weavers, welders and carvers will provide entertainment and help stimulate inspiration for the many art workshops offered to guests at the site. Adventure seekers of all levels have the chance to instill deeper into their minds the splendor of the surrounding Rocky Mountains with white water rafting trips and biking and hiking trails on and around festival grounds. The vibrant atmosphere of Sonic Bloom offers the chance for the individual to reconnect with nature and relax the mind while dancing the night and day away with some of the best local and national electronic dance music sounds today.
