Sadly, Sonic Bloom 2013, the EDM festival held in Georgetown, Colo., turned from a music event to a news event, when an attendee was found dead on Sunday, a microburst wreaked havoc and an altercation between an attendee and police turned ugly.
While we had a reporter and photographer on hand at Sonic Bloom 2013 we have decided to focus our attention on photographs taken earlier in the weekend when spirits were still high.
Local media outlets, including Westword and The Denver Post are covering the tragedy.
Our thoughts are with the entire Sonic Bloom community.
