Other favorites include Greensky Bluegrass,Toubab KreweThe MotetChali 2Na (formerly of Jurassic 5), newly emerging Nahko & Medicine for the People, and a who’s-who of social advocates, outspoken performers, and progressive musicians that leaves no taste untapped.

Given that the free New West Fest and Folks Festival are the same weekend…and with the ticket prices — “Super VIP?” Give me a break!!”– I sincerely hope the promoters of this festival do not take a financial bath. Also given that NedFest is the following weekend, I wonder how tickets have sold thus far.

The lineup is unimpressive to me that I’d look at other fore mentioned options anyway, but I’d like to see any music event in Colorado succeed.
