As half of The Prairie Scholars, Jessica Eppler spends much of her time crooning over the group’s West Texas style, but for this new instrumental disc Eppler keeps mum, instead centering attention on her ample piano skills. The title Dust Storm Dance conjures up a chaotic mood, but the songs put forth here are mostly quite delicate, and Eppler floats gracefully between tracks on this, her first instrumental recording.
