August 22 – 24
Jeff Guercio Memorial Baseball Park,
Nederland, Colo.
NedFest, the annual three-day festival, started as a backyard BBQ and many years ago it turned into one of Nederland’s biggest parties of the year. In addition to hosting bluegrass and jamband royalty, the festival has always relied heavily on many of the superstar musicians who call Nederland and the surrounding area home. This year’s list of big-deal locals includes String Cheese Incident’s Billy Nershi with his band Blue Planet, and Jeff Austin and the Here and Now — Austin’s new post-Yonder project that features Danny Barnes, Eric Thorin and Ross Martin.
You’re going there to see: Jeff Austin and the Here and Now, Billy Nershi’s Blue Planet.
