The organizers of Sonic Bloom recently joked on social media that Romanesco broccoli — the twisted, fractal-like hybrid of broccoli and cauliflower — is the official food of Sonic Bloom. It’s a funny but very fitting statement though, as Sonic Bloom takes the familiar and bends it into exploratory realms that boggle the mind.
The festival combines electronica with art and human performance and has the vibe of a spiritual awakening type of retreat. This year’s new location also allows the promoters to offer top-notch VIP accommodations, including onsite rooms and cabins.

You Need to Know: South Park locals like to joke that people “come on vacation and leave on probation,” as police presence around town and along Highway 285 is strong. We agree that there shouldn’t be speed limits on some stretches of road up in the high country, but the police do not. Use your cruise control and stay at the limit. Don’t give them the excuse.
