Balance Vol. 2
3.5 out of 5 stars
There’s a raw vulnerability that oozes from Dustin Morris’ new EP Balance Vol. 2.
The one-man band who plays foot percussion and guitar, as well as harmonica, trumpet and kazoo, and who jokes that his balance at shows is improving, has put together a happy collection of stripped-down tracks that are true to the folk tradition.
Musically simple at first glance, the deceivingly intricate songs are heart-felt and finely performed, with passion and a bit of humor.
