The first annual Ullrgrass Festival took place last week in Golden Colorado with a variety of events including pre-festival shows in Denver and Frisco with the Ullr All Stars, workshops, meet and greets, a beer festival, a range of venues including the town’s center park, Mountain Toad Brewery, intimate shows including dinner with Peter Rowan at The Golden Hotel and large nightgrass shows at The Buffalo Rose Ballroom and much more. I look forward to this mid-winter tradition for years to come.
