Beanstalk Music & Mountains Festival
State Bridge Amphitheater – Bond, Colo.
Most festivals pack their entire weekend with musical sets, but Beanstalk — now in its third year — takes a different approach. Instead of starting the music early each day, the schedule is intentionally afternoon and evening-centric, so that attendees can take the time to raft down the Colorado, hike, paddle and explore the majestic setting of State Bridge. The promoters are proud of the fact that the area doesn’t get cell service, and they encourage folks to take advantage of that un-plugged time.
This year The Magic Beans will host The Magic Brownie Super Jam, which will feature members of the Beans, playing with members of The Disco Biscuits as well as some special guests.
- You’re going there to see: Three sets by the Magic Beans, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, The Magic Brownie Super Jam
- You’re going to come home talking about: The Malai Llama, Kitchen Dwellers, Brothers Gow
