Returning to the banks of the Colorado River for its seventh consecutive year, Campout For The Cause is a roots, music and lifestyle festival held over Memorial Day Weekend.
Campout prides itself on being a family gathering that is small, intimate, with no need for shuttles, and no gates between camping and stages. Founder of Campout For The Cause, Scotty Stoughton says, “This is not a festival you need to go home from and recover. It’s a healthy, wellness-focused event that you will leave feeling energized, revived, grounded and re-charged.” Not only is the festival focused on wellness, it also donates 100 percent of its proceeds to local and international non-profits dedicated to environmental and humanitarian causes. In the years since its creation, Campout for the Cause has supported All Hands Volunteers, The Realm of Caring, Educational Foundation of Eagle County, American Rivers, The Eagle Valley Land Trust and The Eagle River Watershed Council.
