Contour Music Festival

Contour Music Festival

June 11-14

Snow King Ball Field – Jackson Hole, Wyo.

Big mountains call for big thrills and with the Grand Tetons in sight, it’s no wonder that Contour Music Festival is going so huge in its inaugural year.

Started by Jackson residents Matt Donovan and Jeff Stein, who realized they kept having to leave the Teton Valley to see live music, the promoters have specifically designed Contour to provide access to artists who usually fly right over Jackson on their way to shows elsewhere in the world.

While this may be the first year for Contour, Donovan and Stein have each run their own production companies for years, learning what it takes to put together and run events, so that they can come out of the gate strong their first year.

With a heavy emphasis on hip-hop and EDM — but also enough variety to appeal to other music connoisseurs — Contour is bucking the trend of jam and bluegrass festivals in the mountains, providing drops in a land where the term is usually reserved for the slopes.
