Jackson Ranch – White Sulphur Springs, MT
Red Ants Pants Music Festival is as much an economic development project as it is a music festival. When the festival first began six years ago Meagher County in Montana was ranked as one of the poorest counties in the nation. But by its third year with an attitude that founder Sarah Calhoun said was an “only up from here mentality,” Red Ants Pants Music Festival was bringing an astounding $3 million into the community over the course of the weekend. A portion of the profits from the festival go to funding the Red Ants Pants Foundation, whose mission is to develop and expand leadership roles for women along with many other cool projects.
