Summer Festival Guide 2016

Festival Guide cover art for web

Summertime means festival time. These days it seems like every town in the state has their own musical celebration, and every weekend there are tons of choices to congregate in the outdoor church of music.

The Marquee’s editorial team has scoured the state and beyond to find the best music festivals in the country that are still easily accessible to our Colorado music junkies. What we’ve found are over 50 of the most magical events, most of which are a relatively easy drive, and a few that are a little farther but worth the trip.

There’s no Bonnaroo, here. No Coachella.

That’s not what we do, and you should know how to find out about those events, anyway. Instead, we cover all of the crucial festivals from Indiana to California, all the notable festivals in the state, and our favorite, the intimate festivals — not the ones that create sponsorship impressions for corporate America, but the ones that create lasting memories with you, your friends and your favorite bands. Have fun!
