Blue Ox Music Festival
Whispering Pines Campground – Eau Claire, WI
June 8 – 10

Blue Ox was first imagined by Jim Bischel, the co-owner of the massive Country Jam USA, who wanted a roots, Americana and bluegrass festival that highlighted the community that surrounds the progressive bluegrass band Pert Near Sandstone. Started in 2015, Blue Ox is now one of the largest festivals of its kind in the upper Midwest, but, despite the pedigree of the impressive lineup the event still maintains the intimate experience of much smaller scale events.

Lineup: Punch Brothers, Greensky Bluegrass, Drive-By Truckers, Railroad Earth, Sam Bush Band, The Infamous Stringdusters, Son Volt, Pert Near Sandstone, Keller & The Keels, Jeff Austin Band, Travelin’ McCourys, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, The Steeldrivers, Dead Man Winter, Willie Watson, Fruition, Split Lip Rayfield, Henhouse Prowlers and more

Distance from Denver: 967 miles
