Fayetteville Roots Festival
Fayetteville TownCenter – Fayetteville, AR
Aug 24 – 27
Fayetteville has an urban down-homeness about it. Home to the University of Arkansas, and the headquarters of Wal-Mart, it’s one of the biggest cities in the state. But the Ozarks green rolling hills also hide an approachable, small-town type of feel that is hip and progressive. Anchored at the Town Center, but spread across multiple venues, the festival blends those elements of a mountain town and big city livin’ into a cohesive lineup that pays homage to a genre that trickled out of the very springs in those hills.
Lineup: The Wood Brothers, Iron & Wine, Rodney Crowell, John Paul White, Nick Offerman, John Fullbright, River Whyless, Elephant Revival, The Stray Birds, Dead Man Winter, Smokey & The Mirror, Dana Louise & The Glorious Birds, Matt The Electrician, Mandolin Orange, Joe Purdy, brotherbrothers, Raina Rose, Jacob Joliff Band, Jack Williams, Blind Boy Paxton, The Honey Dewdrops
