Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience
Snowmass Village – Aspen, CO
September 1 – 3
In a festival scene dominated by camping events that promise legions of unshowered and sunburned kids crawling out of sweltering tents around noon, Jazz Aspen Snowmass is decidedly more refined. The festival is a non-profit dedicated to preserving jazz and related forms of music through world-class events and educational programs, and thus the sky is the limit with extravagant VIP packages that end up being huge donations to the cause. Nearby five-star hotels cater to high rollers who fill cavernous VIP tents that boast stage access, chef-driven catered cuisine, appearances by Denver Broncos alumni and Olympians and even a sizeable tax-deduction. While the masses are welcome too, this is one of the only music festivals in Colorado that truly caters to the rich and famous.
Lineup: Lake Street Dive, Daryl Hall & John Oates, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Keith Urban, The Revivalists, The Roots, Maroon 5 and more
