Exactly 50 years ago to the day, the Monterey International Pop Festival served as the key event leading up to the Summer of Love, showcasing a whole host of future legends and changing the landscape of rock and roll gatherings forever. With one of the original producers involved once again after five decades, the Monterey International Pop Festival 2017 seeks to celebrate and memorialize the importance and lasting legacy of the impact on contemporary culture, a generation, and our country that the original event has had.
