In mid-April, the Sawtooth Valley Gathering Facebook page shared a photo of a snow-covered field with the hash-tag #betterthanwaistdeep. With the Sawtooth Range directly behind the park, the area is still very much gripped in winter. But, by the end of July, the high mountain prairie will host, under the gloriously jagged peaks, the third annual gathering.
