As the Aspens begin their brilliant transition to the rivers of gold that dominate the Colorado high country in late September, music and beer lovers plot their course to Telluride for one of the shining stars of this state’s great festival scene. Now in it’s 24th year, Blues & Brews consistently presents a musical lineup that showcases the best of the old guard, alongside the musicians that will carry the torch for years to come, while offering a “grand tasting” on Saturday afternoon (included in the ticket price) that offers more than 170 beers from 56 breweries. If you like your blues served with a beer back, this festival is a little slice of heaven.
