With Carolyn Hunter’s light, dancing vocals as its centerpiece, The Heartstring Hunters’ debut release is a showcase of the creative minds of Hunter and her husband/guitarist Daniel Hunter. The couple — who are joined by a full band and a large list of contributing guests — say that the album is an odyssey of love, and youthful optimism, fused with rich harmonies and laid-back grooves that capture the Hunter’s influences of jazz, rock and modern folk.
