Lafayette-based songwriter Chris Bosch’s third album, Paper Plane is a collaboration between the songwriter and producer Mark Venezia of Wind Over the Earth in Longmont. Through combinations of melancholy and hopeful, the album’s seven songs tell the story of love, personal redemption, and finding freedom in the beauty of everyday life. Venezia layers these stories with simple yet profound instrumentation and vocal harmonies. Many notable Colorado musicians contributed to the album, including Monica LaBonte of the Monocle Band and Jamye Stone (winner of the 2008 Juno Award).
The album serves as another bookmark in a prolific time for Bosch, who in addition to playing solo, also plays with a three-piece band, The Moonlit Wild, who released their first album, Live at the Mary Miller Theater earlier this year and are set to release a full length in 2020.
