Jimmy Cliff and his backing band played to a packed, mostly dry, Boulder Theater on Tuesday evening. Even with attention distracted by thoughts of high water, this crowd kept grooving and singing to the hit-laden set Cliff performed. His dedication of Johnny Nash’s “I Can See Clearly Now” on his third (or was it fourth) encore song brought the house down. A beautiful evening with a timeless artist.
