Wakarusa

Wakarusa Wakarusa June 4 – 7 Mulberry Mountain – Ozark, Ark. From its humble beginnings, Wakarusa has grown into one of the country’s largest summer music festivals, with bands ranging from bumping dubstep to down-to-earth bluegrass, massive national headliners and unknown up-and-comers. One of the most miraculous things about the festival’s growth over the years is that it never turned corporate. Wakarusa still has a down-to-earth, approachable feel and still honors its original vision — a festival by music lovers, for music lovers. Every year, Colorado holds down a strong front on the artist lineup and provides an expansive contingent of music freaks, who travel across the plains to attend.
