The Underground Music Showcase South Broadway between 5th Ave. and Alameda – Denver, CO July 28 – 31 An amazing 400 performances will take place over the four days of The Denver Post Underground Music Showcase. The UMS, now in its 16th year, started back when famed Denver Post marijuana editor Ricardo Baca was still a music journalist. But what Baca began has, over the last decade and a half, turned South Broadway into an insanely intricate, absolutely crucial snapshot of the Denver music scene, as well as a nationwide litmus test of hipness.
