The amount of funk packed into this disc is incredible — and it has little to do with the fact that the behemoth has 14 tracks. Fire screams “Party Time” from the opening seconds all the way through, with fat bass lines, a slew of horns and tons of keys, some provided by the album’s producer and String Cheese Incident keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth. The whole thing sounds like a Saturday night at Cervantes’.
