www.tellurideblues.com September 13-15 Telluride Town Park Telluride, Colo. The seven hour drive from Denver to Telluride is like renewing your vows with the great state of Colorado. You may find yourself wanting to whisper things like, “I just can’t quit you” or “I will never leave you,” as plains, prairies and peaks are framed by your windshield. Over the past 20 years, the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival has evolved from blues specific to all-encompassing on the music front, and now draws over 50 craft breweries to the three day event. This year’s lineup is as hoppy as the hoppiest pale ale. Blues and Brews announced in early May that this year’s headliners include Jim James, the Black Crowes and Melissa Etheridge. Other artists lined up to perform include Gary Clark Jr., Otis Taylor Band and ZZ Ward.
