This second installment of Antonio Lopez’s three-part Cloud 9000 series was recorded in Alamosa, where Lopez is orignally from. Now living in Longmont though, Lopez’s cover of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now” is a fitting track that could easily be about the mountains between both locales. The EP showcases a solid but raw songwriter laying down straight-forward, Americana that is ready to waft from the windows of pick-up trucks in the sunshine.
